important advice

Please note the following information about our products:

Our products are manufactured strictly according to original Ayurvedic recipes in order to achieve the harmonizing and health-supporting effects described in Ayurveda. The traditional Ayurvedic knowledge is a recognized science in Indian culture, which is passed on and practiced by renowned scholars and users and is promoted by government agencies.

Ayurvedic teaching, which is thousands of years old, is based on other principles and perspectives than the “Western” science that we are familiar with. Since our presentations on the meaning and functions of Ayurvedic food supplements (Rasayanas) refer to the findings of Ayurveda, we do not claim any effects in the sense of the science we are familiar with.

In particular, the aspects of harmony and individual inner balance have no equivalent in our science, so that there is no proof of effectiveness for many of the effects described in Ayurveda in the sense of Western science.

The properties listed for the food supplements relate purely to the effects described in traditional Ayurveda and are not recognized by the EFSA - European Food Safety Authority, the Austrian Chamber of Pharmacists or the Austrian Federal Ministry of Health.

Information given is not a salvation statement or a request for self-medication.

What is ama?

In Ayurvedic texts, the term “Ama” is mentioned in many places. The literal translation of Ama is: Undigested. According to Ayurvedic scriptures, Ama arises when the food we eat is not properly digested due to bad eating habits or weak Agni (= digestive fire). According to Ayurvedic teachings, ama is described as a kind of waste product in the body that can hinder all possible metabolic processes. There is no equivalent in western science for this term “ama”, which we have translated into German as “metabolic waste”.

What do the asterisks next to Vata, Pitta and Kapha mean?

According to Maharishi Ayurveda, every person consists of a unique combination of doshas (mind-body energies). The basic constitution of every person resulting from these doshas is called Prakriti and describes the uniqueness of an individual. In addition to Prakriti, there is Vikriti. Vikriti indicates a deviation from the constitution (Prakriti), i.e. an imbalance. Ayurveda aims to correct this imbalance. The Maharishi Ayurveda products have a balancing effect on all doshas and body constitutions and calm the ** marked (= predominant) Dosha that is out of balance. As a result, a Vikriti (imbalance) state is brought back to Prakriti, the innate nature or constitution, and the balance of the Doshas is improved.

For example:

Dosha

P * - balances out increased Pitta
P ** - balances out strongly increased Pitta etc.
